HEALTH CARE ACTIVITIES
- • Stopped deaths of malnourished children from Karjat Taluk. Efforts are on to stop deaths by malnutrition from very inaccessible mountainous areas of Nandurbar district.
- • Total 7500 (Seven thousand five hundred) children are saved so far from the clutches of malnutrition due to efforts of the organisation.
- • Operations of 300 (three hundred) children.
- • Community baby shower programs for pregnant women from Karjat, Murbad and Shahapur taluks on regular basis.
- • Efforts for eradication / stopping of malnutrition of children
EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES
- • Free hostel for fifteen (15) boys and five (5) girls at Kashele, Taluk Karjat.
- • Fifteen (15) Balwadis (kindergartens) in Karjat and Javhar taluka.
- • Four (4) study centres / circles in Karjat and Javhar taluk.
- • Distribution of educational material / stationary to two thousand five hundred (2500) students every year in Karjat and Javhar taluka.
- • Arrangement of various competitions every year in schools of vanavasi areas
- • Training of seven hundred (700) Aanganwadi / balwadi workers from Karjat, Murbad, and Javhar taluks.
AGRICULTURAL DEVELOPMENT AND
WATER CONSERVATION ACTIVITIES
- • An ambitious and near successful project of Orchard / plantation development at fields of four hundred (400) farmers of thirty five (35) villages of Javhar taluk. Plantation of seven thousand one hundred and forty five (7145) saplings of Mango and other trees.
- • Self reliance through agricultural development at village Takli of District Nandurbar, which could stop the migration of forty five (45) people to Gujarat.
- • Construction of wells for irrigation in village Vavi of Dhadgaon taluk of Nandurbar district.
- • Construction of bandhara / bund in village Jangal pada of taluk Javhar for developing water sources.
- • Construction of wells in village Jambhulwadi of taluk Karjat having acute water shortage problem.
- • A permanent solution for drinking water problem of five villages / padas.
- • Construction of bore well at Telangwadi, taluk Karjat.
SOCIAL ACTIVITIES
- • Community / collective marriages of needy and poor vanavasi couples every year.
- • Distribution of sweets and namkeens (faral) to children of twenty five (25) to thirty (30) villages / padas at the time of Diwali festival every year.
